Firearm demand in the U.S. is tracking to be lower for the fifth straight year

The FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System reported on Friday that firearm background checks fell 0.3% year-over-year to 2,006,292 in July. Firearm background checks rose 1.5% from the level seen in June.
