Newmont reports sale of Orosur Mining shares

Newmont (NYSE:NEM) on Thursday announced the sale of common shares of Orosur Mining Inc. 

The miner disposed of 29,213,186 shares in a private transaction, for C$0.19 per share, resulting in aggregate gross proceeds of C$ 5.5 million. 

As a result of this disposition, Newmont no longer holds any stake in Orosur.
